  8.    We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all these people who helped us
  9. on our way from TrapDoor 1.80 to 1.83. Those of you who sent in bug reports,
  10. suggested new enhancements, flooded the beta testers conference with mail,
  11. proof-read the manuals and so on. Thank you all for your assistance. We
  12. usually don't mention specific names, but this time there has been one
  13. person who really stood out of the beta crew. We have decided to give this
  14. years "beta tester of the year" award to ... *music!* *lights!* *action!*

  18.    None of us can understand how he does it. You send him a new beta, and
  19. half an hour later he sends you back the most amazing and clear bug reports,
  20. as if he had spent weeks on getting to know the program. The messages with
  21. his bug reports are hard enough to _type_ in this half hour, yet he does not
  22. only type them but track the bugs down in the first place.

  25.    The other person who really needs to be held high is Arnout Grootveld.
  26. Silently he's been proofreading our manuals over and over, pointing out
  27. the obvious and not-so-obvious little mistakes and blurbs which leave our
  28. keyboards. Again and again, with patience, he's been re-reading every
  29. revision of the docs and it's due to his work that our documentation is
  30. the way you see it now.

  55. times when we ask ourselves if all this trouble is really worth it. But
  56. then, there are so many people actually _using_ our software, and that
